Creative Innovation for Web Mobile Platforms.
BitCot, Inc., an award-winning, innovative, technology driven, mobile cloud software development company is located in the upscale community of Rancho Bernardo, in the northern hills of the city of San Diego.
The company, founded in 2011 by Raj Sanghvi, a computer scientist, who leads a team of 30 plus engineers, describes BitCot as the premier partner for hardware companies, Bluetooth LE, to develop specialized mobile apps for their business needs or next generation product enhancements. Sanghvi’s business philosophy is the driving force behind BitCot: “We exist to do good in the world and solve myriad problems. With over 15 years of experience, our specialty is end-to-end technology solutions, creative design, development and testing, serving the business-to-business community.”
BitCot creates Software As A Service (SAAS) web platforms and mobile apps with scrupulous attention to detail and testing – both manually and automated – to ensure the ultimate quality and performance of the software.
The contest, sponsored by Santa Cruz electronics giant Plantronics’ transformative arm, PLT Labs, challenged teams competing from 33 countries to make the best companion app for Plantronics’ new Bluetooth headset, the Concept One.
BitCot’s Sanghvi was up for the challenge: He created PlanetCar, an app that uses built-in sensors to raise an alert in the event of a car accident or collision. His vision for PlanetCar was to assist first responders to reach an emergency site in record time.
