Project Goal – Centralised Immigration Filing and AI-Guided Form Preparation
Couples filing for a marriage-based green card must complete 8 interconnected USCIS forms, assemble a case-specific document packet, and track a months-long approval process with no centralized tool and no accessible guidance. The goal was to build a web platform that eliminates this fragmentation one questionnaire drives all 8 forms, an AI voice assistant guides users through every field, and a case tracker keeps the entire process visible from filing through approval. ImgAutomate was engineered to replace attorney dependency with a secure, self-contained, and fully guided immigration filing experience.
Overcoming the Challenge - No Unified System, No Accessible Guidance
Immigration filers had no single platform to manage the marriage-based green card process. Attorney fees ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 made self-filing the only realistic option for many couples but self-filing meant juggling 8 separate PDFs, deciphering dense USCIS instructions, and hoping no field was skipped or contradicted. Without a structured system, errors triggered Requests for Evidence, added months of delay, and left applicants with no way to coordinate shared data between the sponsor and applicant without manual back-and-forth.
👏🏽Transformative Solution - End-to-End Filing Platform with Built-in AI Assistance
ImgAutomate was engineered as a complete immigration case management system from smart eligibility detection through AI-guided form filling, case-specific document checklists, one-time payment form unlock, and milestone tracking. Built on Next.js 15 with Supabase for row-level secure data isolation, it gives each couple a private, persistent case environment. The voice assistant Ava (GROQ Llama 3.3 70B) and the Immigration Expert chat (OpenAI GPT-4o-mini) are embedded throughout ensuring users always have context about what they are filling and why. All 8 USCIS forms are auto-populated server-side using pdf-lib, ready to sign and mail.
The Outcome
ImgAutomate eliminated the fragmented, error-prone self-filing experience and replaced it with a guided, AI-assisted platform that gives couples full control over their immigration case.
